Recovery Principle 10
The Longest Journey Begins With The First Step.

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” - Martin Luther King Jr.
Do you struggle with questions or feelings like…
Can I handle life experiences as I go forward? Do I have a plan?
Do you have a support system or feel all alone?
Do you know your strengths and weaknesses post-group?
Do you know what resources are available to you?
Recovery Principle Ten focuses on the spiritual abuse survivor’s ability to face life with its challenges as they move forward. It draws upon all that they have learned and processed in the previous nine Recovery Principles. This can encompass employment, managing personal finances, housing, etc. It should also include continued therapy options and other emotional and psychological supports.
